ValidAIde – Intelligent platform for comprehensive planning and validation of research work
Project duration: 09.07. 2020 – 08. 07. 2022
Project type: National R&D
Project partners: Alcyone (SI)
Total project cost: 698.726,58 EUR
Total project grant: 299.968,42 EUR
The goal of the project is to develop ValidAIde – an artificial intelligence-supported software tool that will be the first on the world market to enable a comprehensive validation of the relevance and suitability of freely available scientific and professional publications on specific research topics.
The ValidAIde platform enables a generational leap in the analysis, synthesis, and understanding of the global literature, and enables more efficient and, above all, better quality research work. With the ValidAIde project, we will implement new functionalities in the traditional world of research, supported by artificial intelligence technology, and for this purpose, we will develop completely new and more efficient technological solutions and innovations.
The project is carried out within the national public tender “Incentives for research and development projects 2”, in partnership of BioSistemika Ltd. (as coordinator) and Alcyone Ltd.
BioSistemika’s role:
As the lead consortium partner, BioSistemika’s role in the project is to develop the artificial intelligence (AI) based software tool for the pre-validation of scientific manuscripts and reports. Specifically, the tool will enable a comprehensive screening of freely accessible scientific literature, summarization of relevant insights, conformity with the FAIR data standard (https://www.go-fair.org/fair-principles/), and provide interoperability with the electronic lab notebook platform SciNote (https://www.scinote.net/).
