GeneH – Excellence Hub for Advancing Innovation in Gene Therapy

GeneH aims to establish a center of excellence in gene therapy through strategic cross-sector partnerships in and beyond Widening countries. By building on existing ecosystems in Portugal and Slovenia, the project will address challenges in the gene therapy development process—from concept to commercialization. Through its 4-helix network (academia, industry, public sector, and civil society), GeneH will foster collaboration, support clinical trial readiness, and promote innovation and societal engagement. The ultimate goal is to strengthen Europe’s leadership in gene therapy, healthcare advancement, and economic growth.
