DNAmmo (InnoMatch)

DNAmmo is a dual-use pilot by BioSistemika and the Slovenian Ministry of Defence that tests DNA-based digital data storage for critical defence applications. Using BioSistemika’s DATANA technology, it encodes sensitive data into synthetic DNA—making it ultra-secure, durable, and offline. The project aims to validate DNA as a quantum-proof, tamper-resistant, and energy-efficient storage solution for defence and civilian use.

BioSistemika’s role:

BioSistemika serves as the technological lead and project executor, responsible for delivering and validating the world’s first defence-sector deployment of DNA-based data storage, in collaboration with Slovenian Ministry of Defence as the tester and operational evaluator.
