Romer Labs (part of DSM) is a leading global food and feed safety diagnostic solutions supplier. They offer a broad range of innovative testing solutions and services covering mycotoxins, microorganisms, food allergens, gluten, GMOs, veterinary drug residues, and other food contaminants.
Romer Labs also operates accredited service laboratories that offer analysis of food contaminants using cutting-edge technology.
BioSistemika developed a simple and intuitive desktop application for data migration from different Romer Labs’ AgraVision Pro devices to a joint application, which is used for on-site testing for contaminants.
The main idea was to include a clear graphical indication that an on-site test result for various mycotoxins and GMOs is in or out of range, easy and quick filtering sorting, and (un)archiving test results for the end users. The application also had to ensure data integrity.
Software screens
The desktop application was developed in C# and .NET 5 Framework. WPF framework, in combination with the Telerik UI for WPF toolkit, was used for the front-end.
For the persistent data storage, we used Encrypted SQLITE database.
