BioSistemika is an internationally established provider of digitalization products and services for laboratories.
DNA holds exceptional capabilities for data storage and is offering a sustainable alternative to existing storage technologies. DATANA’s team of experts is dedicated to bringing the first sustainable, cost-efficient, and rapid DNA data storage technology to the market.
Our interdisciplinary team of life science, STEM, and business specialists is working to address some of the toughest global challenges, among which is data storage. Our aim is to contribute our part to a sustainable future for the planet.

Key responsibilities

  • Proactively searching for business opportunities and monitoring market information, including competition analysis.
  • Work with senior management to develop the product vision, business model, and commercialization roadmap.
  • Developing product/service business models.
  • Work with the marketing team to set up and execute the marketing strategy.
  • Collecting and analyzing feedback from customers, stakeholders, investors, and other stakeholders.
  • Help shape product requirements together with the development team.
  • Searching for investors and/or additional funding for the project.
  • Searching for new customers and identifying new markets.
  • Managing the sales funnel.
  • Visiting events and customers on-site and in-person.
  • Prepare sales-related materials.
  • Reliable execution of tasks and reporting.
  • Recruitment of new employees.
  • Mentoring and sharing knowledge within the group.

Required experiences and skills

  • Previous experience in sales and/or business development on international markets.
  • Positive, make-it-happen, lead-by-example attitude.
  • Self-initiative approach to problem-solving.
  • Fluency in English language (excellent spoken and written comprehension).
  • Excellent communication skills (clear, accurate, effective, and friendly communication).
  • Experience in using MS Office suite, comfortable in using other software tools (i.e., CRM, project management software).

Nice-to-have experience and skills

  • Technical background or work experience in a high-tech company.
  • Previous experience working with a CRM (i.e. HubSpot).
  • Background in biotech, genomics, data management, or engineering.
  • Presenting skills.
